This policy explains what personal information Ant Club collects, how we use it, who we share it with and what choices you have. It is written to follow Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022. By using the Platform you agree to the practices described here. ## 1. Information we collect - **Account details:** your name, email address, optional phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you turn on two-factor sign-in, we store the settings needed for it. - **Profile and listings:** business names, descriptions, photos, logos, addresses, map links, phone and WhatsApp numbers, prices, updates and deals that you choose to publish. These are public. - **Reviews:** ratings and comments you submit. - **AI Studio:** your prompts, settings, uploaded photos, the pictures and videos created, and your credit balance, orders and credit history. Bank payment slips are sent to us on WhatsApp, not uploaded to the website. - **Connected pages:** if you connect a Facebook or Instagram page, we store the page details and an access token you authorised. - **Usage information:** page views and contact clicks on listings, recorded with a one-way scrambled version of your IP address, your browser type, the page that referred you and a session identifier. We do not store your plain IP address in these records. - **Messages:** what you send us by WhatsApp, email or the Contact Us form, including your name, email address, payment slips and support requests. - **Security checks:** when you use a form protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, Cloudflare receives technical information about your browser and connection to tell people from bots. ## 2. How we use it We do not sell your personal information. - To create and secure your account, sign you in and send sign-in codes and password reset emails. - To show your public listings, updates and reviews and to help people find and contact merchants. - To run the AI Studio: send your request to the AI provider, store your results, hold, charge and return credits, and check and record payments. - To keep the Platform safe: prevent fraud, spam and abuse, enforce our Terms and rate limits, and fix problems. - To understand how the Platform is used and show merchants simple statistics such as views and clicks on their listings. - To meet legal and accounting duties and respond to lawful requests. ## 3. AI Studio and our AI provider To create a picture or video we send your prompt, settings and any photos you upload to our AI provider, fal.ai, which runs the AI models and is based outside Sri Lanka. They process this information only to make your result and return it to us. Do not upload photos or text that you do not have the right to use, or that contain other people's private information. Your uploads and results are stored privately on our servers and are not shown to other members. They are deleted automatically after a limited period (currently 60 days) unless you delete them sooner. ## 4. Who we share information with - **The public:** anything you publish in a listing, update or review, including business contact details. - **Service providers:** hosting, email delivery, our AI provider, Cloudflare (spam protection on forms), and content delivery services for fonts and icons. They may only use information to provide their service to us. - **Facebook / Instagram:** only if you choose to connect a page. - **Authorities and advisers:** when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or to our professional advisers under confidentiality. - **A new owner:** if the Platform is sold or merged, your information may move with it under the same protections. ## 5. Sending information abroad Some of our providers (for example the AI provider and cloud services) process information in other countries. When this happens we only send what is needed and choose providers that protect information to a reasonable standard. ## 6. Cookies and similar storage We use a small number of cookies and browser storage that the site needs to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a security token that protects forms, and settings such as your chosen language and light or dark theme. Listing statistics use that same session and a scrambled form of your IP address. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but sign-in and some forms will then stop working. ## 7. How long we keep information - Account and listing information: while your account is open, and for a reasonable time after to deal with disputes and meet legal duties. - AI uploads and results: about 60 days, then deleted. - Payment, order and credit records: kept for accounting and legal reasons, even after an account is closed. - Usage statistics: kept in scrambled form for as long as they are useful. ## 8. Keeping it safe We use passwords stored as hashes, optional two-factor sign-in, private storage for AI files, limits on repeated attempts and secure connections. No system is perfectly safe, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it secret. ## 9. Your rights You may ask us to: - show you the personal information we hold about you; - correct information that is wrong (many details can be edited yourself in your dashboard settings); - delete your information or close your account, except where we must keep records by law; - stop or limit certain uses, and withdraw consent you gave us. ## 10. Children The Platform is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it. ## 11. Other websites Listings link to merchants' own websites and social pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies. ## 12. Changes to this policy We will update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top.
